Welcome to the developing new Dukerads. Navigate on the left. Edit what you want by clicking edit at the top of any page, works just like Wikipedia. Upload whatever you want. Editing the protocol page is done by email request only. If you do not have a username or password you can still access this page and the phone numbers page at the left.

Create Account

An individual username allows you to customize the site and access a personal page where you can include info or articles; to do this email Kal this information:

Email Subject line: DukeRads New Account

Desired username: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (no specific amount of characters required, try to keep it all alphanumeric)

Desired email address: xxxxxxxxxxx@whatever.com

You'll get a followup email with a default password that you can change under "My Preferences" at the top right.

Research

RESIDENT RESEARCH PROJECTS - Projects started by other residents that may require additional help or continued effort by future interested residents.

GETTING STARTED

Process generally requires approval by SBR (Radiology), then CPC (Cancer Center) if applicable, then IRB.

1. https://www.citiprogram.org/Default.asp? You must complete the CITI modules in order to begin an IRB application. Processing takes about a week.

2. https://eirb.mc.duke.edu/eirb/ Log into the eIRB to start completing your application.

3. Contact CeeJay Dozar by email or phone (684 7891) to establish a secure network drive if your project involves PHI.

4. If applicable, a formal budget must be established. In my experience, rough estimates are adequate.

5. Barbara Kurth works in the SBR, is responsive to emails, and can help you revise the rough draft of your research summary before you submit to the SBR. This may speed things up a bit.
